Habitats

The green space of Newlands Park supports biodiversity by providing a range of habitats for plants and wildlife. It is also home to an eclectic and impressive collection of trees.

The Glasgow Natural History Society has created a list of all of the species found within Glasgow as part of the city’s Biodiversity Action Plan. An interim list of some of the species to be found within Newlands Park can be found here and includes birds, insects, plants, mammals and amphibians.

We hope you enjoy learning more about what it has to offer in these sections.
