Everyone is welcome!

Find out what our volunteers have been doing, what we plan to do next, and how you can influence the development of the park.

New volunteers are always needed so come and be a part of a successful, thriving and sociable community. There are lots of ways to get involved. You don’t need to be a gardener.

We are particularly in need of new committee members, so If you are interested, please get in touch with us before 10th September by emailing info@friendsofnewlandspark.org and we will happily answer any questions you may have.

Our committee meets 4 times a year, so its not too onerous, though you would be expected to get involved in some of our projects. It is a great opportunity to use your skills and knowledge on local projects that you care about.

Maybe you want to be involved but the committee is not for you? There’s plenty of things you can do to help – click here to find out more about volunteering at Newlands Park.
